Washington Capitals vs. Pittsburgh Penguins!

Part of Ashley's Birthday Present was 2 tickets to the Captials game, along with a Mike Green Jersey.

What a game to go to! CAPS won in a shootout!

The view from our seats. It was high up, but then you could see pretty much every part of the game.

Chris and Ashley as happy as can be!

Our Trip to Philly!

Chris and Ashley decided to take advantage of a full weekend we have together and go to Philadelphia. Ashley has been promising Chris to go to downtown Philadelphia and see all the Historic Sites (Yes Chris had never been there!). So off we were to Philadelphia. We were not going to allow a little rain to stop us from going. So we prepared for rain and we went out.

So After many recommendations Chris and Ashly had to see Redding Station. For someone like Chris who loves food....this was the perfect place. For Ashley it was a little overwelming after a long day and being tired, cold, and wet.
We were able to buy our produce for the week at a great price. We have agreed that this will be a stop every time we are in Philly.

Redding Station

Chris has never tried a true Philly Cheesesteak. Being in downtown Philly we just had to try one. So here is Chris taking his first bite in a true Philly Cheesesteak.
Let me tell you, he enjoyed every bite of it.

After Redding Station we decided that it was time to go home back to Mom-Mom's house. We were both tired, wet, and cold from the days adventure. We both had a really good time and we will be going back to see the rest of the places we didn't see this time around!

SNOW!

So with 2 snow storms under our belt for the winter season, we thought that the snow was done for the season. Boy were we wrong.
We received three snow storms in a row that amounted to a total of about 3 feet of snow. This resulted in Ashley getting almost a full week off and Chris getting a couple of days off himself. We both enjoyed the time off and time together.

With the first storm I thought it would be really fun to have a snowball fight because it is perfect snowball snow. So with the help of a couple of friends we had a grea time.

Chris and Ashley after the snowball fight!

The tree next to our house. It lost a lot of branches from the storm.

Chris atempting to shovel out our trash cans so we can get to them. You can see the snow is starting to pile up!

It was a winter wonderland!

We were blessed to live in a community where we got plowed out pretty early. It was great for the days that Chris did have to go into work.

Overall Chris and Ashley really enjoyed the time off. Ashley was able to get tons of reading done and Chris was able to catch up on his video games.
