Myers Family

Valentine's Day!

So Chris and I were going to keep it low key for V day. The day started off nice. We went to IKEA to pick up some things for the house that we had been waiting for our tax money to come in. We got home and to my surprise there was a box of Chocolate covered strawberries waiting for me at the doorstep. Yummy! But when we opened the box there were a couple with nuts on them. The nuts had come off of the couple of strawberries getting on other strawberries. So I was a little upset about that, since I didn't want to have a reaction. Chris and I start eating the Godiva Chocolate I got and little did we know that one of them had hazelnut infused in the chocolate. So I had an allergic reaction to that. By 5:30 at night I was out cold in front of the fire. I did enjoy the strawberries because I already had allergy medicine in me.

Day out with the girls!

This is a day out with the girls. We spent the afternoon walking around downtown Rockville and then went out to eat. It was a really nice day out with my sister and Mother. I hope to do it again soon!

SNOW!!!!

This is our first snow storm in the new house! I was so excited to get snow. Unfortunately I had to go to work. Ginger and Cinnamon didn't like the snow and ice so much. Chris had to clear a spot for them to go to the bathroom because they refuse to go on the snow.

First Trip to Philly of the Year!!!

So our first trip to Philly! We have a goal of getting up there 6 times this year. Chris and I had a wonderful time up there. We went to visit my Grandmother and Aunt and Uncle. It was a nice break from the normal weekend. This is the ride home. Ginger and Cinnamon relaxed and slept most of the way home.

Dad's Birthday!

We spent Dad's Birthday at his house. Light eating and fun with games. I baked the cake and forgot the candles. So Dad is blowing the lighter out. lol! It was a fun night!

New Year's day Dinner

My mom every year has a New Years Day Dinner. This year because of schedules we had it on Jan 3rd. This is a tradition that we have had for many years and we love it!
